WHO WE ARE

The Utah Net Zero Consortium (UNZC) was founded in 2017 as an inclusive network of homeowners, builders, architects, academics, and government representatives dedicated to advancing the net zero movement in Utah.  

We define “net zero” as zero net energy consumption, which means that the total amount of energy used by the building is roughly equal to the amount of renewable energy created on the site.  

Achieving net zero is a process, and we welcome everyone who is taking steps to increase the energy efficiency of Utah’s homes and buildings.
